Cameron R. Chapman-Pinto joined our team as an associate trial attorney in June of 2023. Mr. Chapman-Pinto concentrates in the practice of civil rights law, including police brutality & misconduct cases, prison litigation, disability rights & ADA litigation, as well as catastrophic injury & wrongful death cases. Notably, Mr. Chapman-Pinto assisted the firm’s managing partner, Yana Henriks in a civil rights suit against the County of San Bernardino for denial of medical care and accommodations to an inmate, among other abuses. Ultimately, after more than two weeks spent in trial, they managed to prevail on all six causes of action.

Mr. Chapman-Pinto earned his undergraduate degree in International Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of San Francisco before attending the UCLA School of Law, where he graduated with specializations in Critical Race Studies and International & Comparative Law. At UCLA, Mr. Chapman-Pinto served on the Executive Board of UCLA OUTLaw and the Editorial Board of the Promise Institute for Human Rights; provided bilingual assistance to undocumented victims of domestic violence as a student volunteer with the “VAWA/U-Visa Clinic;” worked extensively with the National Lawyers Guild to combat police abuse against local street vendors; and competed with UCLA Law’s team in Mexico City at the Red Cross’s 37th “Jean-Pictet International Humanitarian Law Competition.”
